Technology is great, except for when it decides to stop working or breakdown! While smart and electronic keys are an excellent security measure, they can also be a huge inconvenience when something goes wrong, because it’s not as simple as having another key cut, right? Thanks to the latest and greatest technology this is no longer the case.

If your remote key fob or your transponder key has become broken, damaged or has stopped working but you're not sure why - we can help. Similarly, if you’ve misplaced your keys and need a new fob or key programmed, we can do this too.

At Marquis Auto-Locksmiths we are able to reprogram remote keys, back to your vehicle if they have dropped out. The easiest way to identify if this has happened is by the flashing orange key light on your car, this is a strong indication that your key(s) have dropped out from the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) and need to be reprogrammed back to your vehicle.

What if you’ve accidentally dropped or squashed your keys? No worries, we can also repair and reprogram fobs or transponder keys if the chip inside has become broken or damaged.

And if you have bought a blank key from eBay or another online store, as long as it has the correct transponder chip, we are also able to program that for you. But if for some reason the blank key you’ve bought isn't a match (we understand that this happens sometimes), we can also supply you with the correct transponder for your vehicle.

There are a wide range of keys on the market right now and some require different machines and hardware to program.
